Dating app Bumble announced Thursday that the company-wide vacation week it introduced last month will become a permanent perk, now giving all employees the same two weeks of paid vacation every year.
Bumble said it is making the company-wide one-week vacation twice a year a permanent benefit for its 700 employees. Additionally, the female-run dating app said its employees would now have unlimited paid vacation days with consistent minimum amounts.
In June, Bumble gave all of its employees a week off to combat burnout, noting that like most people, its global team had experienced a “very challenging time during the pandemic.”

Bumble also announced updates to other employee policies and benefits.
It said it would not require all employees to return to the office full-time after working remotely during the coronavirus pandemic, but employees would be expected to work in the countries where they are employed . In addition, Bumble announced that it would allow employees to access co-working spaces for those whose living circumstances are not suitable for remote work.
Bumble said it will now provide employees with at least six months of paid leave for the birth, adoption or surrogacy of a child and at least four weeks of flexible working time to transition back to work for caregivers.
Bumble workers would be able to take at least 12 weeks of vacation per year to care for a family member.
The company said an employee who is a victim of domestic violence or another violent crime can take at least 20 days of paid leave.
Staff can take at least 15 days of special paid leave, Bumble said. This also included vacation after a miscarriage.
